Erase game data

To erase your game data hold L, R, B, and start when you turn on your GBA and keep holding the buttons until a message appears. Once you delete your data you cannot get it back.

Unlock Special Cup

Just get a trophy for the mushroom, flower, lightning and star cup on any 50cc.

Unlock Special Cup in time trial

You must get all gold trophies on all cups in 150cc mode.

Unlock SNES tracks

Get a gold trophy and over 100 coins total on any cup then press R button while selecting tracks (If you get gold a gold trophy and over 100 total for star cup then you will unlock the SNES star cup)

Unlock SNES tracks in time trial

Unlock the SNES tracks on 150cc using the method above and they will appear on time trial.

Make character honk their horn

Just press the select button at the character select screen or during the race. (Note: this does nothing and is just for fun.)

Make character jump or shoot green shell

At the character select screen press the L button to make the character shoot a green shell and R to make them jump. (Note: This also does nothing.)

Get Nighttime background at title screen

Get a 3 star ranking for every cup (even the SNES tracks). This includes 50cc, 100cc and 150cc.

Recover before spin out

If you run on a banana or other hazard quickly press and hold the B Button. If done right you will see a music note above your character’s head.

    F-Zero Maximum Velocity

Note: The JAP version you unlock machines at different orders.

Unlock Master Class

Beat any cup on the expert difficulty setting to unlock the master class.

Unlock Queen Cup

Beat the expert difficulty setting on Pawn, Knight and Bishop cups to unlock the Queen cup.

Unlock Championship Circuit

Get a ranking on all on all the 15 tracks you start off with.

Unlock The Dirty Joker Machine

Complete the standard difficulty setting for Pawn, Knight and Bishop cups.

Unlock The Stingray Machine

Complete the Expert difficulty on Pawn, Knight and Bishop cups.

Unlock The Sliver Thunder Machine

Complete the Expert difficulty setting on the Queen cup.

Unlock Falcon MK-II Machine

Complete the Master difficulty setting on a cup (Pawn)

Unlock Fighting Comet Machine

Game Endings

Complete the game in under 2 Hours and 100% of items collected to get a picture of Samus with her suit off and a clear image of her.

Complete the game in under 2 Hours with less than 100% of items collected to get a picture of Samus with her suit off, leaning up a ledge with her head leaned back.

Complete the game in over 2 Hours with 100% of items collected to get a picture of Samus with her suit off in a city.

Complete the game in over 2 hours but under 3 hours with less than 100% of items collected to get a picture of Samus with her helmet off.

Complete the game in over 3 hours and under 100% to get a picture of Samus with her suit on.

(Note: The best endings are at the top and the worst at the bottom.)

Original Metriod Game

Complete Metriod Fusion in any time with any percentage and next to the file select menu you should see a picture of a Metriod. This shows that you have completed Metriod Fusion and is ready to be linked with Metriod Prime.
